It's been a treat seeing everyone enjoy the new content and DLC this past week. We're especially grateful for your patience as we've been working through the bugs that have cropped up since the update.
Today we have a patch out that fixes a whole lot of them:
- Fixed inventory resetting to the top every time you opened it
- Significantly reduced the frequency of an issue where, in refinement, if you started trying to polish the gem too soon after you finished chiseling, the polish wouldn't start (you'll need to be clicking real fast to make this happen now!)
- Also finally fixed an ANCIENT ISSUE where if you started holding down the polish button outside of the gem, it would show the polishing visual effects, even though the gem wasn't actually getting polished
- Fixed Pietro not doing one of his class-related calls
- Fixed a missing string for one of Pietro's classes
- Fixed "Deeper Still" achievement not triggering
- Fixed cursor being covered by dropdown menus in settings
- Fixed buggy menu navigation in the Bazaar when using controller
- Fixed some upside-down button glyphs
- Probably some other minor stuff I forgot!!!
Other minor changes:
- Adjusted the volume of some background music that was too loud
- Increased minimum mouse sensitivity to 1% so it couldn't get so slow it would be almost painful to fix
Other notes:
- We're aware of a bug in this build where while playing on controller, after you finish refining a gem, your cursor will not appear in the inventory window that auto-opens and the menu isn't navigable. We plan to have a fix for this out soon but unfortunately due to work schedules haven't been able to yet. For now, you can get around the problem by pressing the right shoulder button to close and then reopen the menu. this will reset the cursor. We really appreciate y'all's understanding!!
- We're keeping an eye out for the bug where the Loan Shark doesn't take your money and you get stuck on that screen. We believe we fixed it, but unfortunately the reproduction rate of this one was pretty low so it's hard to say for sure. Please do let us know in the Steam Discussions or our Discord if you run into this one again!
- We're aware of a bug where, when playing with keyboard and mouse, your mouse will often exit the edge of the screen while the virtual in-game cursor will still be there, and they get desynced. You'll have to click back into the game with your real mouse in order to make it lock again. This one we're working on a fix for and hope to have that out soon!
- We're also keeping an eye out for potential crashes and freezes, as there have been a couple cases of these getting reported. These are also low repro though so we can't guarantee yet if/when they can be fixed.
WHEW, okay, that's about all I've got for now.
As a side note, if you played the DLC, consider dropping a review on its store page! It helps us out a whole lot and we really appreciate it :)
ALRIGHT, now I'm gonna go collapse on my couch for the weekend.
Of course, thank you all AS ALWAYS for your continued support and we hope you continue to enjoy the game!!!
