Hello, mercenaries!
This update brings inventory sorting to all windows, improvements to AI and controls, several balance adjustments, few story fixes, and a large batch of bug fixes.
General & QoL
New: Corpses with no body parts left are now deleted after inspection.
QoL: Added a sorting button to the player's inventory, floor, containers, and trading screens.
QoL: Only perishable items are now transferred to the Cryochamber when sorting. Please note that you need to configure the Cryochamber sorting filters first for it to accept items. If there is not enough space in the Cryochamber, items will continue to be sorted through the remaining tabs from right to left according to their filters.
QoL: Items stored in the Cryochamber and Recycling can now be used in projects and Pact reforging.
QoL: When selecting a travel destination, the estimated technology growth of all factions during the journey is now displayed.
QoL: The evacuation portal in Descent missions is now marked on the minimap.
Balance
Updated random starting items. Players now receive slightly more items on average, and the chance of starting without a weapon has been reduced.
Advanced armor and weapon resources, such as ceramite, can now appear slightly earlier in NPC inventories and containers.
Minor update to Sunlight Coven rewards at TL 1.
PMC enemies now have slightly higher dodge, increased by approximately 2–5% on average.
The Steps of Grigenchosach implant now grants immunity to poison wounds and the Poisoning status.
The Plague of Balar implant now grants immunity to the Poisoning status, and its range has been increased from 3 to 5.
AnCom can now reward augment chips at TL 6.
Dog Pelts now have a chance to be infected.
Augments and implants will now spawn in regular and medical containers instead of directly on the floor whenever possible. Their overall spawn rate has not changed.
Fixed the Digger augment not amputating corpses when installed.
Story
Telegraph: Ally Pally's death still causes mission failure, but the clone can now be evacuated.
Nanauatzin's Fire: Fixed Nanauatzin being able to pick up items.
Controls
QoL: Camera dragging has been reworked. The camera now follows the drag movement instead of scrolling in the direction of the pressed key.
QoL: The minimap is now dragged using the middle mouse button. The left mouse button moves the camera to the selected point.
New: Added a Camera Scroll Speed option.
Fixed: It was impossible to open a corpse's inventory with a keyboard or controller if the corpse was on an adjacent tile with a door.
Fixed: Highlight Map Objects did not work with controllers.
AI
Balance: NPCs now consume Pacts given to them by the player when using them. Previously, the Pact could be retrieved from their inventory after use.
Balance: Patrolling squads now limit their movement speed according to the slowest member of the group.
Balance: When receiving an enemy alert from an ally, NPCs now enter the Investigating state instead of immediately attacking. The combat mode specified in the alert is preserved and used once the NPC engages.
Balance: NPCs now select the best available weapon during combat. Previously, this behavior was limited to player-controlled allies.
Fixed: Stationary enemies could not attack with melee weapons.
Fixed: AI state timers were reset after reloading.
Fixed: The Investigating state timer did not update after receiving a new noise stimulus.
Fixed: NPCs did not enter the Investigating state when an attack missed them.
Fixed: Incorrect NPC surrender chance calculations.
Fixed: The chance of selecting the best attack mode was calculated incorrectly, causing enemies to always select the optimal one.
Fixes
Fixed factions being unable to grant rewards from the general reward pool.
Fixed TL 10 being displayed as TL 1 in mission tooltips.
Fixed discounts being displayed incorrectly in proxy station tooltips.
Fixed situations where the displayed projectile trajectory missed the target while the actual projectile still hit it. Trajectories should now be displayed correctly.
Fixed Quasimorphs summoned through Pacts and Baron transformations receiving the Quasimorphosis stage bonus only after the next stage change.
Fixed items recovered from the capsule and shuttle after missions being placed only in the first Cargo Bay tab instead of being sorted between tabs.
Fixed the Accurate Throws weapon trait not being reflected in the displayed hit chance. Aiming a thrown weapon with this trait now correctly displays a 100% hit chance.
Fixed weapons thrown from the vest not displaying their chance to hit obstacles.
Fixed a very rare case where the Magnum could fly through a planet.
Fixed the Co.B.R.A. class's Dismantler perk not increasing the accuracy of weapons thrown from the vest.
Fixed pressing Alt+F4 on the mission completion screen after any type of extraction causing the clone to die.
Fixed the Floor Restart option not being saved correctly if it was enabled after starting a mission.
Fixed accumulated Banes from Pact usage being removed during the Baron transformation.
Fixed incorrect displayed hit chance calculations when Pierce Through Chance exceeded 100%.
Localization
Various fixes to the Spanish and Japanese localizations.
