This update was intended as a bug fix update but I decided to add a few extra features which I hope you will all love.
Additions:
Shoot the Ball!
A new sandbox mode where you shoot a ball instead of a wall.
This started as a test for features to include in the next game but I thought it would be fun to include in STW, we have big plans for a potential sequel and hope you will all stick around to see what we do with it.
Works similarly to the generator mode in that it has it's own standalone save.
Ball has a multiplier, the more you hit it while airborne the more money you will get per hit.
The more damage you deal the higher the ball will be launched per bullet.
You gain Exp per bullet hit.
There is a button to reset the position of the ball.
I am open to feedback on this mode, so leave your thoughts in the discussions section if you would like to see any features added.
Crouching
One thing I intended to add for the launch was the ability to crouch, not sure why it took me so long to implement this but you can now crouch in shoot the wall.
Moving & Camera Animations
The gun used to be in a static position in the screen permanently with a simple idle animation for each weapon, this now moves a bit more dynamically when the player character is moving or looking around.
Also when jumping and landing the guns move to give a better indication of when you're in the air and grounded.
Reworks:
Jumping
Jumping was kind of an afterthought for the initial release and I didn't put much time into making it feel good, I have adjusted how jumping works, so it feels more in line with other games, it is a bit more "floaty" than before but I hope this feels nicer when playing.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug where UI sounds would still play after exiting a menu if you were using Keyboard and Mouse.
Fixed a bug where sometimes the wall wouldn't load (might still not be entirely fixed as there may be other causes but I fixed it in the cases I could produce)
Fixed money not showing the correct value when loading in from a save, it was still storing the correct amount but would not update straight away when the game loads.
