🗺️ Map Redesign and Bridge Tiles!
The map is finally getting a new coat of paint, along with improved clarity and more breathing room for all icons. We updated both the map itself and its tiles, including some very cute new icons for all bosses!
And if you look closely enough... you might spot a new map tile altogether! That's right, Bridge tiles are here!
Bridge tiles are super-quick events that can be completed directly from the map, sometimes even granting you some perks along the way. This helps make path decisions more interesting while also letting you traverse the map faster, if that's the way you like to play.
Bridge tiles can have many variants, from simple bridges to some that can even change the boss you'll face in the area! You won't know which variant is which until you get close enough to the tile, so some level of commitment is required.
⚠️⚠️ Due to changes in map generation, saved runs from before this update may no longer be compatible. Make sure to finish your runs before updating! ⚠️⚠️
💃 Cicandela is Ready to Dance!
That's right, a new elite enemy has been spotted in the halls of the Dormant Palace, waiting with her entourage of Ciolinists to create a deadly show of imitation for any frog who dares challenge her.
As you probably guessed, this enemy will use your dice against you with unique actions depending on your board, but this time she won't be a simple copycat...
You can encounter Cicandela in the second section of Area 3, ready to test your skills right before the final fight. Keep an eye of her intent and don't leave her unchecked for too long. In this dance, there may come a point of no return...
