Hey everyone! It's been a little while, but I'm happy to say that the War Machine update is finally ready! This is the biggest CleanFall update yet. As usual, please keep giving me feedback! It's insanely helpful. A lot of the game has been changed, so I imagine some minor adjustments will need to be made.
And one more thing- CleanFall's demo is available once again! If you have a friend who is on the fence about buying the game, tell them to try out the demo! I plan on keeping the demo available indefinitely.

Update Summary
Ship building has been overhauled. Instead of building a "blob of doom", ship building will now give way more control to the player.
All 3 classes are now designed to build their own type of ships.
I have reprogrammed the destructible world from the ground up- it looks more natural, and should massively improve frame rates.
The Consumer class has been changed to a summoner class.
There is now a Bestiary with unique descriptions for creatures.
22 new items.
Almost all turrets have been rebalanced.
The Fungus Biome has been completely overhauled to emphasize ship building.
The Hollow has been overhauled to emphasize building your ship out of floating debris.
Over 50 refinements and bug fixes.
Improvements to many UI elements.

Ship Building Overhaul
All turrets can be recycled now.
Walls have been redesigned to be rigid, simple, and powerful.
Most turrets can no longer shoot through walls.
Enemies can no longer harm you through walls. (Corpse worms are a cruel exception)
When moving to a new chapter, your ship is automatically deconstructed and stored in a chest in the next chapter.

Bestiary
Every creature now has a custom entry with hand drawn art, detailed stats, a description, and a list of the creature's item drops.

Updated Perks
Perks have been removed. Instead, you may pick a utility item to help you on your journey.
You now have the option to either pick a mini map, ore finder, clock, or item magnet at the jungle campsite.

World Overhauls
The Fungus Biome is now designed to encourage the player to build burrowing fungal ships.
Fungus turrets have been overhauled. They now help you move and dig.
The Lush Biome pushes ships away with massive shockwaves.
A nasty surprise awaits those who stay in the Mek Biome during an invasion.
Fungus has been redesigned.
The Hollow now pressures the player a bit more, but allows you to build mega structures.
The Hollow now sends invasions to attack you as you disrupt the ecosystem.
New floating land mines can detonate on your ship.
Massive balance changes to all creatures in the Hollow.

Improved Alchemy
The Alchemy UI has been overhauled, and there are almost triple the number of recipes.

Fixes and Refinements
There have been dozens of changes, but here are some highlights
Turrets now dramatically explode when they die.
The world is now shrouded in dense dust particles that react to wind currents.
The jungle now has dynamic foliage that reacts to physics.
Graphics improvements in almost every section.
New tutorial elements.
Loading screens are more stable now.
New monitors that detail the biome's current aggression level.
New options menu.
Brightness slider.
Glow reduction slider.
More preference options.
Borderless window option.
Weapons are now categorized differently in crafters. Regardless of rarity, 1 in 5 crafters will offer a weapon.

Conclusion
Thank you for your continued patience as I improve, refine, and expand CleanFall! Chapter 3 is still in development, but it's hard to say how much longer it needs to be ready. That being said, I'm quite excited with how it's looking now. There are some pretty wild things in the works.
