Hello, this is Dopamine Crucian, the development team behind ON&OFF.
This update improves the usability of the tutorial, revises the title screen and some visual effects for the final boss, and adds an option that allows players to choose whether to share gameplay logs.
Tutorial Usability Improvements
We have improved the tutorial controls so that players no longer need to find and click small buttons to proceed.
While a tutorial message is displayed, you can now left-click anywhere on the screen to advance to the next message.
When multiple tutorial panels are displayed in sequence, you can right-click to return to the previous message.
Fixed a Missing Tutorial Explanation
Fixed an issue where the explanation for the Add Arrow skill did not appear during the tutorial.
Title Screen Overhaul
The previous title screen required players to place cards to select menu options. It has now been completely redesigned with a more familiar and intuitive button-based interface.
Thanks to the reviews you left, we were able to put a stop to one developer’s stubbornness.
The new layout should make each menu option easier to understand, especially for players launching the game for the first time.
Improved Visibility for the Final Boss’s Special Pattern
We have improved the warning visuals for the final boss’s special attack pattern.
The previous presentation has been replaced with cleaner and more intuitive warning lines and animations, making the affected area and direction of the pattern easier to identify.
The animation speed of this special pattern is now also affected by the Fast Mode option.
Log Collection Consent Option Added
You can now choose whether to share gameplay logs from the Options menu.
To stop sending gameplay logs, uncheck the Log Collection Consent option. No further gameplay logs will be sent while this option is disabled.
The gameplay logs you have shared have helped us identify difficulty issues in different sections of the game, investigate the causes of errors, and prepare updates like this one. We sincerely thank everyone who has consented to sharing their logs.
We will continue improving ON&OFF by reviewing your feedback and gameplay data.
Thank you.
