On top of it another small update has arrived from the depths of the afterlife. We've fixed a handful of issues to improve your journeys, and added a few extra touches including:
Steam Community Items - Your journey doesn't have to end in-game. Badges, emojis, backgrounds and more are now available to obtain while wagering your soul.
Final Cutscene - The story's closing moment has arrived. Defeat the final boss on difficulty 21 to unlock new insights about them.
If you've already beaten the final boss on diffculty 21 then the cutscene will play after you beat the boss again, on any difficulty level.
Bug fixes:
Fixed an issue causing player input to become locked when selecting the Box of Matches Artifact as a reward while using a controller
Fixed incorrect behavior for the final boss, eg. cards not being played
Fixed a crash caused by interactions between Shame cards when using two sets of the Trio
Fixed an issue with save files created on one system not working correctly when transferred to another system with a different time format
Adjusted opponent behavior to improve prioritization of Devour cards
Spades of 7 now correctly shuffles the deck when played against an opponent with no cards in their discard pile
Adjusted wording for the “decrease card value” tooltip
Back button on controller now correctly deselects only one suit in the Deck Selection screen
Artifact tooltips now correctly scale according to the selected UI scalability setting
Fixed a mismatch between Niv’s voice line and subtitle
Fixed visual issue causing flickering blood effects on transformed Face Cards
Minor tooltips, UX and mouse input improvements
Fixed minor localization and grammar issues
