Hello! We are DopamineCrucian, the development team behind ON&OFF.
Thank you for all the interest, support, and reviews since launch!
However, after reviewing the gameplay data, we found that the current game completion rate is approximately 10%.
To help more players become familiar with card placement and chain building, and to allow them to experience the game’s full content, the DAY 1 patch lowers the difficulty of certain encounters and improves progression-related guidance.
Major Changes
Swapped the Act 1 and Act 2 bosses. The order of the two bosses has been adjusted to provide a more appropriate challenge during the early game.
Added a buff icon that hints at the boss’s second phase. Players can now see during battle that the boss may transition into another phase.
HP is now fully restored after clearing an Act. The player’s HP will be restored to its maximum value before starting the next Act.
Added a notification that the grid expands after clearing an Act. The related messaging has been improved to make the timing of grid expansion clearer.
Reduced the Attack of the “Mosquito” enemy in Act 2. Its Attack has been adjusted to prevent excessive damage from accumulating during certain encounters.
For Players Seeking a Greater Challenge
Although this patch focuses on lowering the game’s base difficulty, we are also preparing features for players who prefer the previous difficulty level or an even greater challenge. We are currently developing a system that will allow players to increase the difficulty in various ways, targeting the DAY 7 patch. Further details will be shared in a separate announcement once the changes have been finalized. Thank you to everyone who has played the game and shared valuable feedback. We will continue improving ON&OFF based on gameplay data and player feedback.
