It's finally here our biggest update yet, and the one so many of you have been asking for. You can now grab a rod and fish yourself in the cozy world of Fisher Idle! With this release we're proudly stepping into v1.0. Cast your line, reel in over 100 unique species, build your personal collection, and chase those legendary catches. Let's dive into everything that's new:
🎣Our Top Priority: Hands-On Fishing!
Idle earnings keep rolling but now your fisher no longer just stands around. Head to the fishing spot, cast your line, wait for a bite, and reel it in with a skill-based mini-game. Every catch is unique: random sizes, size-based prices, and rarity tiers that make each pull exciting. Thank you for all your feedback and patience it shaped this update from start to finish!

🎣 Player Fishing is now live Enter the fishing spot and catch fish yourself with a reaction-based cast & bite system.
🐟 100+ unique fish species Each with its own look, size range, price, and catch rate.
✨ 5 Rarity tiers Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary each with its own frame color and catch odds.
🎯 Reeling mini-game added After a bite, tap fast to fill the bar before the fish slips away. Rarer fish fight harder so not every catch is guaranteed!
📖 Fish Collection added A dedicated journal that tracks every species you've discovered, your biggest catch, and total catches per fish. Your collection is saved, so you can show it off on Steam.
🎣 3D fishing rod A rod model now appears in fishing mode with cast, bite and catch animations.
💰 Instant sell Sell your catch straight from the result popup for coins.
🔁 Changes & Improvements
🖼️ Result popup reworked rarity-colored frame, fish icon, size, and a "New Species Discovered!" banner for first catches.
📊 Reel bar rebuilt as a clean slider with color feedback (red → green) so you always know how close you are.
🎨 Fishing UI polished with smoother animations and a more professional, unified look.
🌍 Full localization the new fishing & collection features are available in all supported languages.
⚙️ Difficulty tuning per-rarity reel difficulty so the challenge scales naturally with rare fish.
