CAP2 v0.930.0 Release Notes
We're delighted to have v0.930.0 ready for you.
This update introduces one of the biggest additions to CAP2 so far: fully player-controllable ground vehicles. Combined with a host of audio improvements, VR fixes and gameplay refinements, it's another important step on the road to version 1.0.
Check out what's new below.
Controllable Ground Vehicles
Take the fight to the ground by commanding a range of military vehicles, each with their own roles, weapon systems, and handling characteristics.
Available Vehicles
M1 Abrams
M2 Bradley
M109 Paladin
MRAP
Whether you prefer heavy armor, mechanized infantry support or mobile artillery, each vehicle offers a different battlefield experience.

Crew Roles
Each vehicle supports multiple crew positions, including Driver, Gunner, and Commander.
In single player, you can instantly cycle through the available role combinations for the selected vehicle. If you're acting as Commander, you can designate enemy vehicles while friendly AI gunners automatically engage your chosen targets. Otherwise, the AI Commander will identify and engage threats on your behalf.
This crew system also lays important foundations for future multiplayer updates.
Weapon Sights & Targeting
The M1 Abrams and M2 Bradley feature fully functional internal gun sights with:
Multiple zoom levels
FLIR / IR mode
VR compatibility
You can also quickly switch between friendly vehicles during gameplay, making it easy to jump into the action wherever it's needed.

Vehicle Controls
Ground vehicles include their own dedicated control mappings, allowing players to configure steering, throttle, turret movement, weapon systems and crew management exactly how they prefer.
VR players are fully supported, with dedicated controller mappings for driving, turret operation, FLIR controls, vehicle switching, and crew role selection.
