Hello everyone!
We're pleased to announce a new patch that will update the game to v1.1.0! Thanks for all the comments and bug reports; we've worked on many important improvements and several bug fixes in response to player feedback, mostly focusing on game-breaking bugs. Here's a handy list of what's been updated:
Improvements
Added side stories for the apostles. They will be updated as the game progresses. The new dialogue will better represent the apostles' own unique characteristics.
Upscaled visuals to support 4k resolution.
Added a rarity indicator for items that are displayed at the shop.
Updated English and Japanese translations.
Changed how the language setting is applied (changing the language setting no longer requires rebooting the game).
Japanese text font has been updated for better readability.
The game will now pause when the tutorial windows are opened.
Bug Fixes
Fixed the issue that prevented backing out of the Apostle Upgrade menu once an upgrade was performed.
Fixed the issue that made the cursor invisible in the Settings menu.
Fixed the softlock that was triggered by skipping the initial tutorial and opening the Apostle Upgrade menu before the first run.
Fixed the bug that made it possible to avoid attack damage by opening the pause menu just before getting hit.
Fixed the bug that prevented the "Flame Bowstring" effect from working properly.
Fixed the bug that could cause the result screen to show icons of bosses the player hadn't encountered.
Fixed text overflows on tutorial windows, weapon descriptions and relic descriptions.
Fixed the inconsistency on the pause menu that would show inoperable selection when the map screen is on.
Removed ambient sound distortions during conversations with NPCs.
Fixed the bug that would cause Yeon to be invisible at the start of the "Center of Chaos" stage.
Fixed the issue that locked the Cause of Death image under certain conditions.
Fixed issues with cut-off text in certain dialogue boxes.
Fixed the bug that would cause the controller to continue rumbling if the player paused when getting hit.
Fixed the issue that occasionally prevented the in-game music from looping correctly.
Fixed the issue that prevented players from being able to read the codex content for apostles they just unlocked.
Fixed the bug that prevented the usage of Token of Apostle at Chaos Dimension under certain circumstances.
Fixed the softlock that could be caused by the blessing object spawning on top of an NPC (e.g. Tiff after boss fight).
Fixed the visual glitch that caused Yeon to disappear during the ending cutscene/credit roll.
Fixed the issue that nullified the charge attack damage of Bow of Lightning Spirit.
Fixed the bug that allowed users to move between rooms (even during combat) by using dash in the Underground Prison stages.
Fixed the visual glitches when talking to NPCs at the Hall of Apostles.
Fixed the issue that caused the game to crash when a certain number of hunting traps were placed.
