Townies,
We wanted to share that we have been & are experiencing unprecedented Distributed-Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks that are impacting Town of Salem 2 servers. This is separate from the couple issues we faced immediately upon launching the patch live. We have been actively working to mitigate the DDoS attacks. Unfortunately, one of the security measures affects Town of Salem 1 mobile users.
We are continuing to monitor & address these issues. At this time ToS2 servers are offline & ToS1 is not accessible through mobile platforms. We will continue to post updates & share information as soon as we are able to. Please keep an eye on official announcement channels. We appreciate your patience & understanding.
Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 6:20 PM ET UPDATE: We are still working with our server partners to mitigate the DDOS attack. We appreciate your patience & understand how frustrating this is for everyone. We're also working with LootLocker to iron out the different methods we can utilize for providing various types of compensation to players for the downtime. The plan for the compensation for our most-recent previous downtime required extra tech so we restrategized & the distribution of that is still planned. Stay tuned for more information on server status updates + compensation updates.
