Hello Terraformers!
We've just updated a new version (v2.102) on the development branch. To try it, see the "How to switch branches?" question in the FAQ.
This version brings the last touch to moon Skeo.
This should be the last update before we start porting it on consoles, then take a bit of time off and then release it in September.
Let us know what you think about it, and if you find bugs or performances changes.
If you are a content creator with a large audience, we recommend testing this update only once it has been fully rolled out.
As usual, restart Steam to get the update, and backup your save before trying the dev branch. All players must have the same version to play co-op. If you have issues launching the game, remove all your mods before reporting bugs.
Temporary Changelog :
Rendering backend back to DX11 as default (DirectX12 can be enabled with the -force-d3d12 command line argument)
Added new animal 10 effigie (find it in portal wrecks)
Prime : New wreck in the Cascades sector
Prime : Improved the top of the Grand Canyon sector
Fixed issue with underground pods causing non host players to be teleported under the map when trying to get out
Solar & pulsar quartz available again in auto crafters before unlocking the quartz craft station
Osmium on Skeo is now collected with ore extractor (not harvester anymore)
Reverted animal food T2 recipe back to previous version
Portals Generator can't be built on Skeo anymore
Terra tokens counts now stored as a unsigned 64bits value
Butterfly dome & toxic container now show inventory slots
Various environment fixes and optimizations
Consoles
At the same time, we are working on a patch for consoles to reduce the chances of crash. Then, we will look into the rebinding for gamepads, but we cant guarantee a release date for it.
