Hello Mountaineers!
Update 1.3 for Above the Snow is now available! This update brings the next set of roadmap features, including the first version of the automation system, the Endless Mode crew selector, new entertainment objects for Building Mode, performance optimization, and other minor improvements.
WORKER MANAGEMENT
When assigning a worker to a task, you can now set in their character card whether they should automatically return to work after resting, and how much stamina they need to recover before their rest ends.
ENDLESS MODE CREW SELECTOR
Name your shelter and choose your starting crew. There are also two additional characters: Marek Kaminski and Ed Viesturs. We are still waiting for the voices for both new characters, but hopefully you will be able to hear them in game soon.
TRAIL MAP
We added a minor improvement: all map nodes with prepared trails now have a flag icon.
NEW ENTERTAINMENT OBJECTS
There are a few new entertainment objects: Dartboard, Pinball, Foosball Table, and Table Tennis.
PERFORMANCE
Volumetric clouds are now turned off by default. This should help more players get better performance at the beginning of the game. You can always turn volumetric clouds back on in the graphics options.
