The New User Tutorial system is designed to help brand-new pilots get started, both with RealFlight and radio-controlled flight in general. That is a lot of ground to cover, but the tutorial does it in an easily digestible way. It includes:
- A new set of videos explaining the basics of using the simulator
- Two new sets of training lessons demonstrating the fundamentals of flight (one each for airplanes and helicopters)
- Two new challenges that walk users through the first steps of piloting a model themselves (one each for airplanes and helicopters). Many levels only allow control over one or two inputs, adding more as the user progresses. This process of learning the inputs in isolation is only possible in the simulator.
