1.1 - More Biome Variety, New Train, New Upgrades, Milestone Bugfixes — Apocalypse Express News

Hey! Version 1.1 is now Live

First we want to thank everyone for all the support, bug reports and awesome reviews. The whole team is super proud of what we accomplished! Please keep the bug reports coming, we are trying to react to them as much as possible and have already fixed over 100 bugs since 1.0. Also for the people who have been playing for some time now, feel free to also share some suggestions and ideas of things that you would potentially like to see in the game. Last thing to mention is what we want to do for 1.2, and that's a visual rework for the map, its currently the ugliest part of the game, and we would want to give it a nice facelift so it matches the rest of the art. And also getting an endless mode in, where the most hardcore players can have a chance to test their skills. Also we are currently exploring how to add customizable keybinds, its a big change that requires lots of fixes and changes in the systems, but we will do our best to get that in as well.

Additions/Balance

Additional Biome Variety, now each biome changes progressively as you go deeper into it. This should give you a better feeling of progression through each of the worlds. Here is a depiction of how that looks in the Viaducts.

Extra Note: 5 more upgrades will come during the next week, we are just finalizing some stuff for them

Bugfixes

All milestones and achievements can be unlocked (while we were fixing some conditions in the previous updates, there was an underlying issue preventing lots of them from unlocking, this issue has now been resolved)
Fixed issue with Morale Breaker Upgrade
Fixed issue with Specialist event where you could get soft locked
Lots of other small bugfixes
