Update v1.2.1 is now available, bringing major improvements to the save system and the way game data is stored.
This update refactors several save data formats to reduce save file sizes, shorten serialization times, improve performance, and make saving more reliable.
Save System Improvements
- Added protection against overlapping save operations
- Implemented comprehensive error handling for the save process
- Refactored several save data structures for improved efficiency
- Updated sales tracking with lifetime statistics and seven-day sales history retention
- Converted machine slot history to a more efficient array-based format
- Added position and rotation rounding to reduce save file sizes
- Optimized data comparisons and storage for better performance
- Removed redundant save operations and duplicate box saves
- Added additional debug logging for save operations
Save Compatibility
Existing save files will automatically migrate to the new data formats without affecting your progress. Both older saves and newly created saves are fully supported.
These changes should result in smaller save files, faster serialization, fewer unnecessary save operations, and improved long-term stability.
