The Server Browser is now live! You can finally browse public servers and join other players directly instead of needing to search for a group through Discord.
This update also introduces six new community-supported languages, crafting directly from your inventory, improvements to achievements and axe skins, and several important bug fixes.
Thank you to everyone who suggested features, submitted translations, reported issues, and continued helping us improve MAZEBOUND.
PUBLIC SERVER BROWSER
This has been one of the most requested features since launch.
We were initially hesitant to add public matchmaking at first because of trolls and bad behavior. To make public servers safer and easier to run, hosts now have several new moderation and privacy options.
- Browse and join public servers directly from the game.
- Host your world as either a public or private server.
- Change your server from public to private while already in-game.
- Mute disruptive players.
- Permanently remove unwanted players from your server.
You can now meet and play with random players without needing to organize a group elsewhere first. Private hosting is still available for anyone who prefers to play alone or only with friends.
Thank you to everyone who suggested a server browser. We hope this makes finding a group much faster and easier.
NEW LOCALIZATIONS
With help from members of the community, MAZEBOUND is now available in six additional languages:
- Russian
- Turkish
- Japanese
- Korean
- Simplified Chinese
- Traditional Chinese
A huge thank you to everyone who helped us translate and review the game. Community support made these localizations possible.
Because the game contains a lot of unusual item names, monster names, and handwritten environmental text, please report anything that appears incorrect, unclear, or out of place.
QUALITY OF LIFE AND BUG FIXES
- Crafting can now use materials stored in your inventory.
- Fixed stamina continuing to drain when grabbing the cart.
- All eligible players in a group can now receive kill-related achievements.
- Fixed equipped spears disappearing from the Ballista after saving and reloading a world.
- You can now press N to switch between your unlocked axe skins.
- Changing an axe skin will preserve the axe’s active buff effect.
- Buffed axes now cause trees to drop the correct amount of resources.
- Adjusted the Shriekcrawler in Hardcore Mode so it should always drop at least one finger.
- Adjusted Shriekcrawler and Lumivor spawn rates in Hardcore Mode.
