We fixed another bunch of stuff in Crushed In Time, but we've also added a few new features!. Here's the full patch note!
What's New!
Added a chapter selection menu. This menu will appear when you finish the game. If you've already finished the game: You'll need to watch the ending cutscene again to unlock this feature.
Some puzzles have been smoothed out.
Overall adjustment of the hints.
Chapter 9 now only requires you to capture 25 Watson clones.
Bug fixes
Chapter 1
Fixed a bug that left the hall door closed when Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson go to check on the car. Just a little oil on the hinges and it's good to go!
Fixed a bug that caused the game to get stuck in an infinite loading loop when the player switched from one scene to another during one of Sherlock Holmes' sneezes. Just goes to show that allergies are a massive public health problem.
Fixed a bug that prevented the bush from losing its leaves when Sherlock Holmes sneezes in its direction.
Chapter 2
Fixed a bug that caused the splash VFX to reappear during a scene change. Sorry about that, but we're doing what we can to beat the heat.
Chapter 3
Fixed a bug that was preventing the key from moving through the pipe. We called our plumber. His name is Marco. He's nice.
Fixed a bug that could slightly alter Sherlock Holmes' appearance.
Fixed a bug that prevented an interaction point from appearing when Sherlock Holmes grabs Dr. Watson's ankle.
Chapter 4
Fixed a bug that caused the scene's interaction points to appear during a cutscene.
Fixed a bug that caused Dr. Watson to be scared of Sherlock Proto without waking up from his daze. We know he's scary, but still.
Fixed a bug that caused the rim light to remain active when a sequence was played at low detail settings.
Fixed a bug in the Editor level that prevented Emma's position from being validated even though it was correct.
Fixed a bug in the Editor level that caused Sherlock Holmes to flicker during the scene validation test, even though his position was correct.
Chapter 5
Fixed a bug that could prevent a fragile area in the Vector sequence from appearing as such.
Chapter 6
Fixed a bug that could prevent the interaction icon from appearing correctly on the sticky note "PROTO Basic Pathfinder".
Fixed a bug that prevented Sherlock Holmes from reappearing if he was bounced off a vertical line on the pre-production board.
Chapter 7
Fixed a bug that caused the phone screen to appear zoomed in if you skipped all the previous cutscenes. Personally, I call that a well-deserved punishment for disregarding our work, but apparently I'm overreacting.
Chapter 9
Fixed a bug that could cause the bird to end up outside the barrel. As if it weren't hard enough already to get it inside.
Fixed a bug that caused navigation arrows to appear for no reason in the Countryside area.
Fixed a bug that caused interaction icons to appear for no reason during a cutscene in London.
Fixed a bug that prevented a sound from playing correctly when interacting with the drawer where a clone of Watson is hiding.
Fixed a bug that prevented Dr. Watson from returning to continue the adventure after the clones were dropped off at the bunker. By the way, have you noticed how Sherlock Holmes talks to him nonstop?
Fixed a bug that prevented a clue from displaying correctly in London's back alley.
Chapter 10
Fixed a bug that prevented a Watson clone from repositioning itself on the correct window when the game loaded during the Train Pursuit sequence.
Fixed a bug that prevented the rotation icon from appearing correctly on Dr. Watson. Spin me right round, baby, right round!
Fixed a bug that allowed a Hand of Fate to grab Dr. Watson before the sequence began. If that's not impatience, I don't know what is.
