We are continuing to work a new round of updates that we're calling "Phase 2" (see our roadmap).
In this update we added a variety of animations to the game's UI. These animations are part of an ongoing effort to improve the game's framework (before we move further w\\ whole new features).

New Animations
Resource icons on cards "bounce" when resources are acquired.
Progress bar animation now includes light pulse & "tack-on" progress animation.
Selection menus now animate on open (grow) and animate on close (shrink).
Progress bars show a sequence of three dots "..." when progress is active.
Character icons on cards "bounce" when characters are selected.
When stories are opened, characters slide in from the bottom, and stories slide in from the left.
Buttons now have a hover / highlight animation.
Buttons have a subtle on-click "bounce" animation now.
