Added a scrap metal system. Unlock the scrap metal tech in the research tree, then while driving around the world you’ll find scrap at loot spots with a 5% chance. Use it to upgrade your vehicles — each level permanently adds HP and armor. Soviet recycling: today a UAZ body panel, tomorrow +5 armor for your heart on wheels.
Balance
For the "Aerodynamic Tests" data, the max speed requirement was lowered from 100 to 50 km/h. Even the GAZ 69 can pretend to be a sports car now — just don’t say that out loud.
Slightly increased grip on all surface types, because the GAZ 69 was handling like an iron.
Disabled the rock generation system under the wheels. Light vibration of the wheels and chassis looks good when you’re flying over flat ground. But on rough terrain — with a swarm of hungry bugs behind you — it was just adding difficulty. The rocks went on a well-earned vacation. The bugs did not.
Increased the DPS of the "Lavender" weapon. Smells like peace. Hits like a chainsaw.
Bugs
Fixed explosive projectiles
Fixed the "Lavender" projectile. It now hits where you’re aiming, not the neighboring time zone.
Fixed bugs stretching upward on despawn. No more living chitin skyscrapers.
Fixed the laser beam — it no longer passes through bugs
The shotgun no longer applies impulse to a dead bug, reducing the chance of corpse spin mania. The free-spin merry-go-round is closed.
Fixed a den bug where it wouldn’t react to the player. The den is no longer on mute.
Fixed a bug comparing speed to the required value when earning speed data
Fixed bugs with the popup panels that showed collected loot and data
Fixed a bug with resetting colliders on trees you’d driven away from. Trees no longer hold a grudge from a distance.
