We wanted to throw in a few notes of our own, anticipating some things you may want to know.
The Community League will end October 9. We won’t start another.
Regular Competitions will run as normal to end on November 10, so anyone entering a final competition can see the end result if they wish.
Daily Missions will run as normal until the end.
Trophy of the Week will continue in Discord
The external competition site is up and running! The top 10 comps each week will be paid out in em$. You can join the comps here: https://thc-comps.com/
Sales. The possibility to purchase new in-game currency has been disabled. Any in-game currency that you already own can be used until November 11. Starting tomorrow, most of the store will be on sale at 95% discount. The exceptions: items that have caused problems in the store before, items we've never put on sale (and therefore aren't sure they won't break anything), and the Wolfsbane weapons, which are 100% off so everyone can join in on Halloween. The sales will run until November 11.
The game has always been online; this means old disc copies of the game will not work after the shut down. Please do not be fooled into paying a fortune for a disc that won’t work.
We still don’t like hackers, particularly those who try to dominate competitions.
Please remember that if you want to download images from the gallery or Discord to do this before November 11. We will not be able to save anything for you.
You will not be able to create a new game account or Forum account, effective immediately. Please think about this before deleting an existing account. All accounts and information will be deleted on November 11 with the shutdown.
Obviously this all means that a lot of stuff we promised won't be delivered, and some fixes will have to be shelved. You have our sincerest apologies for this, we wish we could have ended on a higher note.
