A lot's been going on this month, and we have a lot to share!
Sequel News
First thing's first: we're officially far enough along on the "I Wanna Be A Game Dev!" Sequel that we can now give a release date for the Steam page and trailer.
Both of these will come out on December 19th, the one-year anniversary of the expansion DLC!
Of course, this is still several months away, but this is our most ambitious game so far, and we want to make sure the game is revealed at its best. But, for now, enjoy this new character... but wait, who is this, anyway?
In the meantime... we do have one more announcement.
A Spin-Off...?
For a while now, in the shadows, some of us have been working on a passion project based on the "I Wanna Be A Game Dev!" universe (and been subtly hinting at it in other announcements!)
Today, we can finally reveal After School Duels, a competitive card game where the characters race to complete games of their own!
Right now, it is still in early alpha testing, but we are planning to have a demo of the game out before the end of the year. We have been super excited to share this with you all, as we are super passionate about it.
We know that this is a lot, but the "I Wanna Be A Game Dev!" Sequel is still our top priority. Our team has been working for hours upon hours each week to flesh out the continuation of the story, so we hope you'll look forward to it.
Community News
We're also planning on hosting new Discord events in the near future! We don't have a specific date for our next one yet, but we have been preparing the Steve bot for it, and if you're familiar with the Hunger Games, Battle Royale, and other similar killing games... well, we just told you exactly what the event is.
