Hi all, This is a short news post to let you know that I will be releasing Sketchy's out of Early Access in roughly 2 weeks on July 15!
It's been over 2 years working on Sketchy's as a Solo Dev and I am extremely proud of what I created and very grateful to the amazing community that has come with it.
As a quick rundown, Full Release will have new content including:
An 11 part Storyline.
15 Steam Achievements!
A New Map - Null Sector (this map contains the final quest of the newly added storyline). This is the only map that Zero Gravity is part of how you move around the Map, specifically in the level 0 area.
This a section of Security Level 1, a supplies area built into a shattered asteroid.
This is a section of Security level 2 where you'll find many specimens you've fought on various planets and maybe a few other bizarre experiments.
Lastly, we have the Main Frame, a place where all answers are finally revealed - a place where you will confront Sketchy. A minimum of 1 player is required to have the last quest of the story or has completed the story in order to take down the barrier outside the Main Frame to enter and confront Sketchy.
NOTE - the Last Boss - confronting Sketchy - is a high level enemy that will require you to utilize everything you've learning in combat. It's recommended you are a minimum level 50, have suit points maxed in the appropriate areas, use Black Market weapons for optimum damage, and COOK A BURGER to keep yourself constantly healing. You will be challenged!
New Enemies to fight and collect.
New Pet - "Baby Nightwalker".
A New Skin: "Droid" - this is the new starter skin for new players. All color variations are free to purchase. Additionally , the mouth is animated to move when detecting sound through player voice chat.
New plush, furniture, and weapon charms.
Some additional QOL updates and Bug Fixes of course.
Additionally, for anyone wondering about seasonal event cosmetics, they will be available to purchase with normal cosmic coins all year round, so if you missed out on those events in the past 2 years there's no need to worry!
There will also be a new trailer that will launch with Release day that really showcases the fun and chaotic game that Sketchy's have become.
This community has given such amazing feedback and helped in so many areas of testing. I truly couldn't have made Sketchy's what it is today without you all.
