Hi everyone! Today’s update continues the focus on improving stability, fixing reported issues, and improving the games overall polish.
Here's what's included in today's update:
Missions & Dialogue
Fixed issue where 'Lena Whitmore' would restart dialogue sequences even after completing the mission 'Core Retrieval'.
Resolved issue that could cause 'Theo Harrington' to not give his debt to the player during the mission 'Balance Due'.
Resolved issue where 'Elias Vaughn' would not recognise that the player retrieved the debt.
Fixed issue where 'Theo Harrington' would restart dialogue sequences even after mission completion.
Fixed issue where 'Elias Vaughn' would restart mission dialogue even after accepting and completing his mission.
Fixed issue where it was possible to pass a 'Deceit' skill check without having the required 'Deceit' skill level during the mission 'Balance Due'.
Fixed issue where dialogue option numbering could display incorrectly when dialogue options were hidden or unavailable to the player.
Made some text changes to a handful of dialogue options.
Previously selected dialogue options now change colour to indicate which responses the player has already selected.
UI / Systems
Added the ability to rebind the 'torch' key, as requested.
Added a notification when certain console commands execute successfully.
Resolved issue with the 'Respec' confirmation UI overlay appearing in the wrong order.
'Escape' key now correctly closes the Respec confirmation overlay.
Respecing now correctly deducts credits.
Respec UI now closes automatically after respecing.
'advlevel' console command now correctly updates player level text in the inventory.
Fixed the 'memory core' item incorrectly displaying 'Datadisk' in the UI prompt.
Gameplay Fixes
'Skip' button during the opening cutscene now functions as intended.
Resolved an issue where biocells could reduce player biocell energy instead of replenishing it in certain conditions.
Resolved an issue where the bandit leader could be spoken to while dead in certain conditions.
Fixed issue where the bandit leader corpse could become unlootable in certain conditions.
Fixed issue where consumables placed in hotbar could be unintentionally consumed via mouse wheel scrolling. Scroll input no longer triggers consumption.
Environment Changes
Made some alterations to a few textures in Pearl City.
Adjusted nighttime skybox brightness in Pearl City to make nights darker.
Added checks to improve rain transitions when entering/exiting indoor and outdoor areas.
Added missing footstep sound effects on several pavements in Pearl City.
Made overall lighting and atmospheric changes to Pearl City.
'Memory Core' item is no longer floating.
Added more detail to the area around the 'memory core' in Alios.
