Commandos: Origins - Update 1.7
Commandos,
We have just released Update 1.7 for Commandos: Origins for all available platforms. This update improves performance (notably related to viewcones via a new Graphics API option), and fixes multiple gameplay and AI issues, it also resolves various localization and UI bugs. Performance
Added a new "Graphics API" option in Video Settings.
Players experiencing performance drops when activating viewcones (especially on AMD GPUs) can now switch to DirectX 12 to improve framerate.
Enemy Behavior
Fixed an issue where knocked-out AI units would remain prone after loading a save.
Fixed an issue where enemies failed to detect the player inside a full viewcone near the rifle clue in Operation Vulpes.
Fixed an issue where the radio signal was not visually restored after loading.
Additional Fixes
Fixed an issue where cutscene dialogue and audio did not trigger if a global alarm had already been activated.
Fixed an issue where AI lights did not function correctly in Operation Vulpes.
Fixed an issue where the knife kill stat was counted twice on the mission overview screen.
Fixed an issue where disguise highlighting would reset after loading.
Fixed camera glitches in Command Mode.
\[“No Man Left Behind” DLC] Fixed a tree culling issue after loading saves.
Fixed an issue where players could not navigate to the "Open Shop" button in the DLC ad window using a gamepad.
Localization
Fixed an issue where Sniper dialogue cut off and overlapped during the objective (Locate Agent Wake) in Operation Vulpes.
Corrected typos and grammatical errors in the "Undercover Agents" collectible during Operation Rooster.
Corrected an error in the Polish translation where "water tank" was incorrectly translated as "war tank".
\[“No Man Left Behind” DLC] Fixed inconsistent naming of Sapper and Sniper in the Japanese localization.
