Hey everyone,
It's been a month since launch, and we're back with our 5th patch — and this one is kind of special as its a first Major Update for Project Mist.
This update introduces some really cool features including the new Night Raid system, Fast Travel, new weapons, expanded building options, combat improvements, as well as numerous fixes and optimizations based on your feedback.
Our goal is to keep improving the game every 1–2 weeks while also delivering meaningful major updates every 4-6 weeks, and this patch is the first bigger step in that direction.
We also haven't forgotten about the roadmap. We're currently putting the finishing touches on it and expect to share it with you next week but you can already see a little sneak peak for next 2-3 months ;)

New Features & Improvements
Night Raids
Every night after 22:00, improved types of enemies with glowing red eyes begins to appear.
These enemies are more aggressive and drop better loot than regular versions.
Night Raid enemies become stronger with each passing night.
Players can avoid Night Raids entirely by:
Sleeping through the night in safe spots.
Staying on the train, which remains a safe zone.
Please note that thanks to the new Fast Travel system, you can now build bases anywhere on the map and quickly return to them whenever you want. That way you can either expand your train base and play it safe or challange yourself to try to survive in the wilderness.
Please note that this is just a first version of night raids and we are already working on new night raid features for upcoming patches.
Fast Travel System
After defeating the first boss, players can find and craft Fast Travel Packs.
Fast Travel Packs allow travel:
Back to your train.
To Fast Travel Points placed around the world.
Players can now build their own Fast Travel Points across the map.
New Melee Weapons
Monster Claw – applies a poison effect to enemies.
Electric Baton – applies an electrical effect to enemies.
Building Improvements
Improved building sockets that can now be rotated more easily.
Right Mouse Button now closes building categories or returns to the previous category instead of selecting structures.
Increased durability of wooden structures.
New metal structures can now be found and built in game.
Combat & Balance
Improved firearm handling and shooting responsiveness.
Higher-level enemies now have increased health for better progression balance.
Visual Improvements
Visual upgrade for the Seed Maker.
Bug Fixes
Multiplayer
Fixed Tick enemy reset issue where clients could not see its actions before the explosion occurred elsewhere.
Fixed players occasionally spawning outside of the map.
Fixed Soldiers becoming stuck in multiplayer.
Enemies
Fixed Shielders disappearing unexpectedly.
Restored Shielder ranged attacks.
Fixed frogs occasionally becoming stuck.
Fixed Obelisks not respawning correctly.
General Fixes
Fixed audio spam in the building menu.
Fixed lock colliders remaining after the lock was destroyed.
