Hi UNO™ players!
If you're new to our posts, we’re Snap Finger Click - a small, independent studio of developers working on UNO™. We love making games for your game nights!
Because UNO™ is a live game with new updates rolling out all the time, bugs and unexpected quirks can sometimes pop up. But being a live game also means we are constantly working hard behind the scenes to track them down and squash them.
Previously, we’ve relied on hunting down bugs through Ubisoft Customer Service and the Ubisoft test teams, scouring the Steam forums, or chatting with you in our Discord. While those channels are great, we want to give you another way to contact us and make it easier than ever for you to report issues.
To help us find and fix things faster, we are launching something brand new: the official UNO™ Bug Reporter!
What is the Bug Reporter?
The UNO™ Bug Reporter is a website where you can draw our attention to specific issues that you might be experiencing. You can either report new issues or upvote any issue that’s already been reported by other players. It also lets you keep track of the reported issues, so you can see if a fix is in progress, if we need more info, or when the fix can be expected to go live.
Why we need your help
One of the biggest challenges we face with UNO™ is that the bugs we see and hear about from the community are rarely universal. Because of all the different setups, connection speeds, and peripherals that are in use, a bug that freezes your game might never occur on another player's screen - and that also means that it doesn’t get seen by our testers. These types of ‘it only happens to certain players’-bugs can be common in online games and we want to have a solution in place that helps us fix those bugs.
We have a team of testers working on the game every day, so this tool isn't about asking you to do our job for us. It’s about giving our programmers the missing puzzle pieces. When you report an issue and tell us exactly what happened right before a bug, it hugely helps us with recreating those highly specific conditions and fixing the root cause.
How it works
Search and Contribute: Before you submit a new report, you can search the database to see if someone else has already flagged the same bug. If they have, you can contribute to it. Adding contributions to existing issues helps us gather information for ongoing investigations. The more details collected in one place, the less time is spent searching for information.
Submit the details: If you've found a brand-new issue, you can create a ticket. Giving us the full picture makes it so much easier for our programmers to investigate. Even better: show us! If you can attach a screenshot or a video, please do. Even a quick clip recorded on your mobile phone pointing at your screen is incredibly valuable. Seeing the bug happen in action is often the quickest way for us to solve it.
Track the progress: You can check the status of your reports at any time, see what the community is upvoting, and track exactly what our team is actively working on.
Other Support Issues
The Bug Reporter is strictly for tracking in-game bugs. If you are having trouble with your account, billing, or general connection timeouts, you will still need to reach out to standard Ubisoft Customer Support.
We are a small team, but we are completely committed to keeping UNO™ running perfectly for your game nights. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to help us keep improving the game!
