For Zundamon Castle, the remaining plans are to make some adjustments to diplomacy features and implement mining-related systems before releasing the full version of the game.
【Major Additions】
- Implemented seawater (when starting a new game on the Japan terrain map, seawater and freshwater are now distinguished). Unlike freshwater, seawater cannot be used for rice paddies or water collection. Fishing huts and ports built on seawater receive ocean bonuses. Added Sea Bream Fishing Huts, which only operate on the ocean, and added sashimi recipes.
- Added fermentation-related technologies. Added sake, soy sauce, and miso.
- Added the quest system. Added the Japan map and 26 factions (the quest system only functions when playing on the Japan terrain map).
- Changed the specifications so technologies are unlocked according to challenge progression. Regular raid contents now also change depending on challenge progression.
- Changed the specifications so soldiers assigned to barracks or mansions are removed when those buildings are demolished.
【Content Additions & Balance Adjustments】
- Added Torii Gates, Stone Lanterns, and Stone Buddhas to the technology tree.
- Added a meal assignment feature for days with battles.
- Since cannoneers became stronger due to being able to target pavises, the attack speed of Elite Cannoneers was slightly reduced.
- Since Elite Shield Soldiers could reach 100% defense rate when combined with Tosei Gusoku armor, their frontal defense rate was slightly reduced.
- Changed allied gunners’ penetration rate to the same 10% used by enemies. Changed Elite Cannoneers’ penetration rate to 60%. Increased cannon purchase costs.
- Optimized enemy placement processing.
- Reduced enemies clipping into buildings.
- Added the ability to set supply priority from the soldier panel.
- Added long-press support for rotating decorations while placing them.
- Added a feature allowing players to freely change flags.
- Changed the displayed item count during packhorse item selection back to the total inventory count.
- Added standby locations to the soldier panel in addition to supply points and combat points.
- Changed line-of-sight calculations from buildings to the best-case method (allowing the same attack range regardless of placement position).
- Added an option on the New Game screen to limit enemy invasion directions to one side.
- Added miso as an ingredient for Kiritanpo. Added soy sauce as an ingredient for sushi. In exchange, sushi effects were strengthened.
- Added wheat cultivation to the “Double Cropping” technology. Limited the temperature effect of Double Cropping to soybeans and rice, and adjusted the minimum temperature to 4°C. (Previously, since wheat was not implemented, rice functioned at wheat-level cultivation temperatures as a substitute, so this was adjusted after wheat was added.)
- Implemented automatic seasonal recipe switching (mainly for double cropping).
- Changed Endless Battle so that after Wave 50, a rest period occurs every 10 waves.
- As the game became more complex and difficult, workers were slightly buffed (they become hungry less easily and move slightly faster), the rate at which enemies grow stronger was slowed, and enemy parameters on higher difficulties were slightly reduced.
【Bug Fixes】
- Fixed a bug where soldiers heading toward a stable would move to the stable’s old location after the stable was relocated.
- Fixed a bug where units would exit buildings when the administration point and supply point were the same.
- Fixed a bug where saves failed to load if they were saved while reserving a challenge added by a MOD.
- Fixed a bug where the second wave was skipped when playing a custom MOD challenge after clearing the game.
- Fixed a bug where the required military strength for Level 1 upgrades was not displayed.
- Fixed a bug where the attack speed icon was incorrect.
- Fixed a bug where granite stone walls and regular stone walls used identical textures and could not be distinguished.
- Fixed a bug where damaged buildings were considered fully repaired on load even if they had only recovered slightly.
- Fixed a bug where fall damage calculations always used the maximum fall height regardless of actual height fallen.
- Fixed a bug where units would briefly stop moving when turning corners.
- Fixed a bug where buildings under construction would instantly complete after loading.
- Fixed a bug where ladder soldiers ignored bridges and built ladders instead.
- Fixed a bug where trees could be planted underwater or on rocks.
- Fixed a bug where mounted movement processing failed if another stable was placed adjacent to a stable entrance.
- Fixed a bug where building a base at the edge of the map caused visibility checks (detection after enemy spawning) to include the opposite edge of the map.
- Fixed a bug where units would sometimes move near buildings after battle if no supply point was set.
- Fixed a bug where work progress bars sometimes remained visible even when soldiers were outside the dojo.
- Fixed a bug where mounted soldiers assigned to dojos displayed incorrectly after loading.
- Fixed a bug where enemies would shake in place because they could not move over destroyed buildings.
- Since units can now climb the side faces of stairs, pathfinding was adjusted to consider height when entering stairs from the side.
- Adjusted the game so icons immediately appear after construction if a building is not adjacent to water or the temperature is insufficient.
- Fixed a bug where newly obtained items sometimes would not be transported to storage until after reloading.
- Fixed a bug where destroying enemy pavises or ladders placed on stairs with arrows or similar attacks caused the stairs to lose functionality and forced wall climbing behavior.
- Fixed a bug where enemies could get stuck on destroyed gates and similar buildings.
- When UI numbers and actual usable item counts became mismatched (such as after technology level-ups), the UI values are now recalculated.
- Fixed a bug where newly produced items were placed on the ground but not transported.
- Fixed a bug where the Fishing Hut water shortage icon was not displayed.
