Blasphemous II: The Third Sin takes place within a huge and foreboding gothic castle that’s a quarter of the size of the entire Blasphemous II and Mea Culpa world maps combined.
The Third Sin Free Expansion Adds:

Blasphemous II: The Third Sin challenges you to explore and overcome a part of Cvstodia that once served as a refuge for the nobles, until The Miracle wrought devastation within the castle walls.
Set across the fortress’s meandering halls, twisting towers, cavernous library, and dank crypt, the expansion also features a gallery allowing players to replay previous bosses, and introduces a new gameplay experience in the form of three Familiars - magical entities that accompany The Penitent One, supporting them in both combat and exploration.
Added to your armoury is a new weapon, a blade-tipped whip, enhancing The Penitent One’s move set with a series of standard and special attacks to vanquish foes into dust.
Blasphemous II: The Third Sin also includes new prayers, unlockable outfits, *five new achievements/trophies, and an additional six music tracks by series composer Carlos Viola to further immerse players into the castle’s uneasy ambience.
Available to download now on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), XBOX Series X/S and Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Coming to PlayStation 4 at a later date.
Bug Fixes
Additionally, this update includes a vast array of bug fixes for Blasphemous II:
Fixed an issue where getting hit at the same time as defeating a boss would sometimes cause progression blockers. This has been fixed for multiple bosses, players that have previously ran into this issue should now be able to progress.
Fixed certain backgrounds shaking when moving across the screen
Fixed certain UI/HUD elements not being visible when Scale mode is turned off on Ultra Wide screen Fixed a issue where the Cloth of the Old Woman item would reappear when it shouldn't Fixed the Consummate Collector achievement so that it no longer triggers earlier than it should
Fixed an issue where Spellblade Resonance can be transferred across save files Fixed an issue where the SFX of certain prayers would persist when used then unequipped Fixed a rare softlock where killing a specific boss would not grant the Key of Salt as it should do
Fixed an issue in New Game+ where deactivating challenges would cause an inconsistency with the amount of jewels available
Fixed the description to better reflect the Shelter in Sacred resonance's behaviour
Fixed an issue where The Penitent One would disappear after executing certain enemies
Fixed an issue where the player would get locked in the slide attack using Sarmiento y Centella
Fixed an issue where you could become stuck trying to execute an enemy before the prompt appears Fixed an issue where certain enemies would not trigger in one of the trials of combat, causing the player to become softlocked.
Fixed an issue where certain enemies would be stuck in their animations depending on where they stand Fixed an issue where certain bosses may lack VFX when they die and potentially staying on screen when they shouldn't
