Travellers of the Otherworld!
Today is a day to celebrate. When we were younger, Gothic was the first game which showed us what a true RPG could be. It gave us a world to try things out. One we didn't know we’d need. It was special in so many ways. And due to its absolutely stunning Community survived until today.
Looking back, Gothic is not only a massive inspiration but also a major milestone for the German Games Industry. A brand of relevance, today more than ever. Without Gothic we wouldn’t have started Drova. It is one of the main inspirations, one of the main reasons why we went for the RPG genre. And as of now, Gothic Remake is finally here. We have obviously followed its development with great interest and we’re super excited to return to this magical world once again. And we hope it can scratch that itch.
We’ll take a few days off now, going deeper into the Mines. To celebrate the return, we’ve launched a small Discount for Drova as well. Let’s hope there’ll be more games alike in the future which manage to create such deep, catching worlds.
