A24 Backrooms Movie Event
Hey everyone! We've collaborated with A24 to celebrate the release of the Backrooms movie on May 29, 2026, and we've put together a special limited time in-game event.
A new anomaly has appeared in Level 0, designated "The Blue Tape Threshold." Cross through the blue tape wall and you'll find yourself in a living room with a functional television inside. Scattered throughout Level 0, you'll also find a new item: the VHS cassette. Pick it up, bring it back to the living room, and pop it into the TV to watch an exclusive clip from the upcoming A24 film.
This event will run until Friday June 12th!
The VHS cassette is yours to keep after the event ends, so make sure you grab one while it's available.
