Hello all! Seeing all of the buzz and hype around the Backrooms movie really got me wanting to finally dive in and try and make some real progress on the co-op Escape gamemode that I've talked about here and there, but never really put much time into.
I spent my free time the last couple of months really grinding away at getting this update ready to roll, and it's very close now! Still needs some more time in the oven, but I have a short teaser I can share with everyone!
Escape Mode will be a free update for Bonerooms that adds a brand new game mode that is focused on co-op! Players will have to explore procedurally generated floors of the Bonerooms to try and find fuses to power up the elevator and move to the next floor. The floors grow increasingly larger and more dangerous though, so you'll want to work together to survive. Avoid enemies, sell loot, buy items, gather bones, upgrade stats, take some photos, do some vandalism - whatever it takes!
I'm hoping to have this all wrapped up very soon, but unfortunately it'll need a little more polishing before it's ready for launch.
