World generation 🌎
One of Line War's best players "valithor" made this great contribution to the game.
New world generation options in the lobby to switch map type
Normal - the classic, randomized world gen scheme
Continents - generates a certain number of clearly identifiable continents
Land Bridges - generates a certain number of somewhat identifiable continents connected by small strips of land (choke points)
Island World - generates a world with a specified number of islands
Any generated world gets a seed that is self-descriptive, i.e. all you need to get the world back is to copy/paste the seed as usual
All world seeds are backwards compatible
Bugfixes 🐛
Less likely for industries to spawn on the edge of the map
When this happened no industries anywhere on the map were buildable
This will slightly change existing map generation. The PoIs on any previously affected map will now have new PoI placements.
