Hello everyone! A new update for MakeRoom has been released which adds many new features and items. The game is now also available in more languages; Spanish, Polish, Turkish, Swedish and Brazilian Portuguese. Let's find out what's new, but first...
You can now get an exclusive 'Kenney' plush, our studio mascot! If you'd like to use Kenney in your creations, enter the secret code: kenney in the menu to unlock him. The plushie is available for a limited time only through Youtooz!
Enhanced visuals
The lighting system has been overhauled. Now lights affect the environment and add a pleasing glow to the space around them. Some of the lights (like candles, lanterns) will flicker. You can switch between enhanced and basic visuals in the options, as well as disable the flickering.
Objects from custom
All 192 items that were previously only available when creating custom furniture are now also available to be placed while creating scenes. You'll find them in the new 'Primitives' category!
Field of view
It's now possible to adjust the field of view, it ranges between 20 (which was the default value) to 50. Together with the unrestricted camera option you'll now be able to view your creations in totally new ways!
Improvements
You'll also find many new improvements to the game like hotkeys for gizmo and duplicate-in-place, the ability to make objects much smaller, save slots have been expanded to 30 pages and double the amount of custom color slots are now available. See the full changelog below for all improvements and changes.
