Hell Is Other People is a point and click adventure with a twist: your inventory consists of concepts you pick up along the way, like smiling, making eye contact, using humor or flattery.
There are meters for Resilience, Trust or Anxiety which influence the way the character interacts with other characters.
Choices matter - will you try to fit in or embrace being different?
Every single aspect of the game, from writing to art, music and programming is made by me, with no generative AI used whatsoever. This is a deeply personal project that draws inspiration from living with social anxiety, and it's great to be able to explore these themes in the form of an adventure game.
