First of all, we would like to sincerely apologize to everyone affected by the recent issues.
After launch, we received reports from some players experiencing video-related problems on certain hardware setups, including screen corruption, black screens, freezing, and playback stuttering. These issues were primarily caused by compatibility problems related to high-resolution video encoding and device-specific decoding environments.
To address this, we have been continuously investigating the issue and reprocessing a large number of video resources with improved encoding and compatibility optimization.
Because this update involves replacing and repairing a significant amount of video resource files, the update size will be relatively large (tens of GB). We understand this may increase download time and storage usage, but this is currently a necessary step to ensure long-term stability and compatibility across more devices.
Main fixes included in this update:
■ Fixed video corruption/screen artifact issues on some devices
■ Fixed black screen and freezing issues during video playback
■ Fixed rotation issues affecting certain outfit videos
■ Improved compatibility and loading stability for video resources
We fully understand that these problems negatively impacted the gameplay experience and did not meet the expectations many players had for Dating 4 Girls. For this, we sincerely apologize once again.
