A fresh update is here with UI improvements, better pacing, fixes, and some nice quality-of-life changes across the board.
⚙️ Balance & Progression
- Reduced vending machine upgrade costs by $50–$100 to speed up early game progression
- Improved overall early-game flow and ramp-up pace
🧠 UI & UX Improvements
- Updated day phase timer visuals and layout, now the player can clearly understand when they can end the day
- Improved book UI tag spacing
- Refined pricing panel increase/decrease steps (0.5 increments)
- Removed unused top item shift behavior
- Updated end-of-day timer text to “Ready to End”
- Removed unnecessary floating text at the end of the day
💾 Save & System Updates
- Improved save button responsiveness (faster refresh timing)
- Added and refined auto-save system (5 min auto saves)
- General save system stability improvements
- Book system sync improvements
- Data and localization sync updates
- Steam Cloud Save now correctly saves your game on cross-platform
🌍 Localization
- Updated and synced multiple localization entries
- Fixed Polish and Russian missing characters in the font
- Added Polish main menu translations
🛠️ Gameplay & Fixes
- Fixed Upgrade Machine achievement issue
- Improved minigame drill target performance
- Machines with graffiti now show warning indicators on both the machine and map
- Prevented item pickup from machines affected by graffiti
- Improved metro last machine guidance logic (last spot in the Metro Station had saving issues)
- Various backend fixes for item placement steps and latch behavior
