Hello Everyone!
Welcome to the Rocket Fuel and Landing Pad dev update (see previous updates 01, 02, 03, 04, 05)

We are now getting to the exciting point in the development where we are adding the most interesting features to the game.
This time around we've been focusing on the landing infrastructure and propellant manufacturing side of things. This is a completely new feature in Planetbase 2.
Landing Pad attachments
The Landing Pad will feature several attachments, unlocked as you progress in the game, that improve it's functionality.
Basic Pad: Only small Colonist and Visitor Ships can land. Resource Storage: Allows Trade Ships to land. Propellant Storage: Allows refueling of ships. This increases ship capacity and lowers trade prices. Tower: Enables large ships to land.

Methalox Refinery
This is a structure that combines Oxygen and Carbon from the Martian CO2 atmosphere, with Oxygen and Hydrogen from Water (H2O) to produce Rocket Fuel. On planets with no atmosphere the production chain will be different.
Tanker
This new vehicle can carry Rocket Fuel between the Refinery and the Landing Pad in order to refuel ships.
Propellant Tank
This structure comes in 3 different sizes, and can store Propellant previously created in the Refinery, for future use.
Industrial Console
This is a Control Center component, where your engineers can monitor the Methalox Refinery and other external production structures.
What's Next?
We are now working on the various Bots and Drones, there will be some old friends from Planetbase 1 coming back and some new additions too.
