Per Aspera is a planetary simulation game combining hard science fiction and base building. You step into the role as AMI, an artificial consciousness, with the goal of terraforming Mars for human habitation. The surface of Mars is already littered with the previous attempts by others to colonize the planet, but this time it will be different as you balance a complex well of resources, customise the planet with branching research trees and developing new technologies to create a thriving interplanetary civilization.
