Dear friends,
[p align="justify"]This patch note begins with a message from the studio head:[p align="justify"]I'll start with a touch of humor, recalling a famous catchphrase known in the Russian community:[p align="center"]“I'm tired — I'm out.”[p align="justify"]As of March 30, I am fully and irrevocably stepping down from my role as project lead, making way for fresh energy and perspectives.[p align="justify"]This decision wasn't easy: over these 9 years, while I've certainly taken significant financial losses as an entrepreneur, I've also honestly and sincerely poured an enormous amount of time, energy, emotion — and frankly, life force — into my dream.[p align="justify"]The main reason is the project and its development have become excessively dependent on my personality. And after the thorny path of development, the accumulated fatigue — and, to some extent, bitterness and regret — I've grown far too biased and rigid when it comes to the project and its future.[p align="justify"]As always, there was both good and not-so-good. I'll say just one thing: I may not have launched the most successful MMORPG — but I did launch one.[p align="justify"]The new project lead is taking full control over development and the game's direction. I won't remain even as a consultant — and most certainly, they won't need to coordinate anything with me. They will introduce themselves in their own words; from me, I'll only say this: my willingness to hand over the project without hesitation is a measure of my trust in them.[p align="justify"]Perhaps this fresh blood — new energy, new eyes, the readiness to change things radically — will be exactly what ROG needs.[p align="justify"]I imagine this news will please many; and for those it doesn't — believe me, this is for the best.[p align="center"]ROG’ums Up!
The new leadership's message to the community will be published later.
For now, let's move on to the list of changes and fixes:
Teleportation System 2.0 — Fixes:
Teleportation cost reduced by 10x;
The price multiplier for teleporting outside a portal increased to 5x;
Maximum token stack size increased to 5000;
Weight of all tokens reduced to 0;
Token prices adjusted;
Progression of teleportation cost based on carried inventory weight revised:
Weight up to 50 kg no longer affects teleportation cost;
From 50 to 1000 kg, the weight penalty multiplier scales non-linearly from the base 0 to a maximum of 50. For example:
100 kg increases teleport cost by 1,5x;
500 kg increases cost by 23x;
600 kg increases cost by 30x;
...up to the maximum 50x multiplier at 1,000 kg carried weight;
Token box slot counts have also been reduced to better align with the new system — now matching their tier level.
Other Fixes:
Death penalty on the island now reduces the "Adventure" effect duration by only 15 minutes;
Fixed an issue where monster collision boxes remained after death;
Creased ticket fragments can now also be combined into full island tickets;
Maximum castle level available for capture by guilds of level 4 and above raised to 250;
Fazira teleportation tokens (including event ones) replaced with universal tokens featuring a fixed teleportation cost;
Fixed an issue preventing quests for Vocation tiers above 3 from displaying;
Fixed an issue with fort burn duration at Gwaelot Castle;
