Changelog 1.1.0
Read the original on Steam ↗- fixed tears dropping and immediately disappearing on death in some rare cases
- fixed cycling tools not working correctly sometimes
- reworked how most screens work so they should open a bit faster
- fixed falling in a certain boss room respawning the player in a pit again
- fixed a cracked wall from Hemlock Citadel not being saved as destroyed
- fixed killing an enemy and existing its screen at the same time resetting the enemy to idle but still inactive
- hide a certain secret room from the minimap (it was too obvious)
- fixed falling in the first room of Vesper Mines pushing the player back to Ashmoor Dunes after respawn
- made Cannon Ball interact with bomb traps
- added one more sound to the Worm enemy just before popping out the ground
- coop: make players not collide with each other (it was a bit funny but there were too many edge cases where that would get the players stuck)
- coop: fixed Player 2 missing a sprite during spin attack
- coop: fixed dead Player 1 going to a new area when Player 2 entered in a new area
- coop: add Player 2 on minimap
- fixed CRT filter causing blurred sprites in some very specific positions
- some performance optimizations
Notes on purple block pattern puzzle: now each block can only be hit once. The bad news is that this required changing the puzzle solution in a few places so if you look up an old guide/video you may see an outdated solution, the good news is that this should make it a bit easier to solve the puzzle on your own. All of the puzzle clues told the player about the order of a block in the solution, for some reason a lot of players kept trying to hit the same block multiple times even though that is never the solution in the game, I saw players try this strategy still at the last puzzle in the game even though this was never a solution, resulting in a lot of time lost. Now each block can only be hit once so this should prevent the player from brute forcing a solution that takes a lot of time to input and never works.
