Better Days - Minor Patch Update v1.04.1 is Live! — Better Days News

Hello Investigators, Minor patch v1.04.1 is now rolling out. This update focuses on Quality of Life (QoL) improvements, Open World vehicle handling, and resolving several bugs.

【New Content】

🔫 New Weapon Skin: Added a new semi-auto pistol skin for the starting character: \[PPC-G2].

【Quality of Life & Optimizations】

⚙️ Dynamic Language Switching: Rewrote the underlying code for language settings. Changing languages is now instantaneous and no longer requires a game restart to take effect.
🎒 Smart Quick-Sell: Improved the inventory selling system. Using the "Quick Sell Blue/Purple Items" function will now automatically exclude common crafting materials, preventing accidental loss of valuable resources.
💥 Vehicle Collision Damage: Open World vehicles now deal actual physical damage when running over enemies.
🎯 Reload Fluidity: Improved the transition animation after reloading Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles, eliminating the slight input delay ("clunky" feeling) at the end of the reload sequence.

【Bug Fixes】

UI Fix: Fixed the sniper scope UI offset issue. The scope now perfectly scales to various monitor aspect ratios and high refresh rates.
System Fix: Fixed a rare issue where selling items could cause the game to freeze or crash.
Vehicle Fix: Fixed an issue where Open World vehicles would slowly roll/slide away after the player exited them.
Vehicle Fix: Fixed a physics bug where crashing into monsters at extremely high speeds (especially during unstable framerates) would cause the vehicle to unnaturally halt or spin out of control (the "PIT maneuver" effect).
Combat Fix: Fixed an issue where aiming trajectories and bullet paths would become distorted when shooting while standing too close to Open World vehicles.
