We’ve just rolled out Update 1.031, and this one has some serious under-the-hood improvements that you should feel right away:
⚙️ Major Performance Improvements
We’ve rebuilt shader compilation from the ground up, making it more thorough and precise. What does that mean for you? Fewer hiccups, smoother gameplay, and a more consistent experience overall.
On top of that, we’ve done major optimizations to rendering and enemy systems, allowing the game to handle intense combat situations with far less performance loss. Things can now get a lot more chaotic without your framerate taking a hit.
🛠️ Bug Fixes
As always, we’ve also squashed some nasty bugs, with the main focus being fixing a crash that made life much worse while playing in the Outskirts.

IMPROVED FEATURES:
Rebuilt shader compilation from scratch to be more thorough and precise, resulting in an overall smoother experience when playing
Major optimizations across the board regarding rendering and enemies, the game can now handle a lot more action without performance loss
Map loading takes a lot less time now
Adjusted several texture sizes to improve performance in the Land of Memories, Haven and the Graveyard
Optimized rendering across the entire game to reduce stutters
BALANCE:
The level of weapons found in the Graveyard and Outskirts realms will now be slightly higher
Weapons found in the Trauma realm are now at a significantly higher level than the rest of the game
BUGFIXES:
Fixed a crash that could occur in the Outskirts
Fixed a bug where you could fall out of the Haven map
Fixed a bug related to coins that would often cause severe stuttering when coins were dropped
Fixed a bug where enemy HP bars were updated even when hidden, reducing performance
This update is another step toward polishing Soulslinger to the level it deserves. Thank you all for continuing to report issues and share feedback — it genuinely helps us make the game better with every patch.
