We’re also excited to share a major announcement: the Sandbox Mode Beta is now open for testing! Since launching Arena Mode in May, we’ve received fantastic feedback from the community. Players have loved tackling Arena bounties to earn Abyss Crystals, upgrading weapons, and honing combat skills in Free Mode. However, we’ve also heard your calls for a faster, more accessible experience—a Sandbox Mode where you can dive straight into the action without progressing through the storyline.
In Sandbox Mode, you’ll have immediate access to a diverse arsenal of weapons, ready to equip and wield without crafting costs or material requirements. If you’ve played Story Mode, all your unlocked armor, weapon components, necklaces, and more will carry over to Sandbox Mode, letting you customize your warrior to your heart’s content.
It’s been a full year since Grimlord’s official launch, and our passion for this project remains as strong as ever. Despite facing challenges, we’re grateful for the unwavering support from our platform and community. That said, we must acknowledge that some objectives from last year’s Roadmap were not met due to unforeseen circumstances. We’re revising the Roadmap and will share an updated version soon. New Additions
Christmas Special Event Added Christmas gift boxes in the monastery. You get 7 chances to open them and receive different rewards. Can only claim once per day. Festive Christmas Atmosphere
Added holiday-themed decorations throughout the monastery to bring the Christmas spirit to life. Christmas Special Equipment
Introduced new Viking warrior-style weapons and armor. These can be obtained through the Christmas gift boxes. Sandbox Mode (BETA)
Players can now directly enter Sandbox mode, choose their weapons, and engage in arena combat. Arena Base Renovation
The arena base has been completely rebuilt and upgraded.

Adjustments Knight Armor health increased from 25 → 30
Gladiator Armor movement speed increased from 500 → 520
Bug Fixes
Fixed the issue where necklaces could appear floating in mid-air when taken out of the inventory.
Fixed several bugs in Arena Free Mode monster selection — the chosen monster type now spawns correctly.
