Hey y'all, just a little update here. Nothing major but I know I always wonder what's going on when a little game has a little update, so I like to write these even if there's not much there. First up, It's been asked of me once or twice, so it's something I've wanted to get done for a while now. I finally got the chance to put most of the game's OST up on youtube! It's just the songs I wrote so far, will see if we can get the Crashtroid songs into the playlist too sooner rather than later. (Ok bet, little miss doing-this-over-a-year-after-the-game-came-out.) Updated to the latest version of gamemaker. This has zero impact on you but it is a thing I did and I had to fix new errors because of it so I am writing it here because I can. <3
Fixed a crash that somehow escaped us since the game's launch. It was happening if you tried to switch categories in the level editor using the controller or keyboard. It's entirely possible nobody's ever actually run into this, but you've gotta fix crashes! Just like you've gotta take care of keyboard and controller support.
You can no longer spam the pause button to lessen the effect of gravity upon the egg. Yep. every time you paused the game you'd negate one frame of gravity that otherwise would've been put on to the egg. It's maybe a bit late in the game and long in the tooth for me to be coming in and removing something that is technically speedrunning tech, but ultimately I made the decision to fix this bug because, well. I don't really think spending the whole game spamming the ESC key to bypass most of its puzzles is really an enjoyable thing to do. It was neat to tinker around with, but not neat when extended to the breadth of the whole game. Too high impact on the game for how easy to execute it was as well. If you feel like you missed out, I think there's ways to grab old versions of steam games? go and tinker with it!
