As 2025 draws to a close, we wanted to deliver one final content update and reflect on our first year.
Latest Content Update
Get ready for a new challenge! A patrol helicopter is being added to target players carrying weapons. If you manage to shoot it down, you'll be rewarded with four loot crates. Gear up, take the chopper down, and head home with some great loot! Speaking of home, you can now upgrade your base with new two buildables, a garage door and wall frame (replacing the double door frame). We hope you enjoy this new content over the holidays!
Reflecting on Grim's first Year
This year, we moved from an Early Access launch to a full release. Rolling out numerous updates along the way. From essential bug fixes and general improvements to exciting new content. Fixed sleepers not simulating physics properly on death
Fixed an issue with the crossbow pull string
Fixed an issue with armor damage calculations
Fixed convert build parts turning on automatically after a server restart
Fixed decals being enabled on some tools
Reduced code lock audio volume
Optimized the supply drop plane
Supply drop plane will now always spawn outside of the map bounds
Supply drops now have a 15+- minute threshold to spawning every hour
Added burst fire mode to the LR-300 and MP5
Refactored how weapon data is stored to setup new ammo types in the future
Replaced double door frames with wall frames
Added the Garage Door to the item database
Added the Patrol Helicopter.
Spawns every 2-4 hours.
Targets players holding ranged weapons, players with ranged weapons in quick slots, and players with a suit or more than 3 equipment items on.
Patrol heli will spawn 4 loot crates when destroyed.
