We are happy to announce that after seven years of development, Veterum has entered Early Access.
At this stage, the game is fully playable: almost all missions are finished, the open world is complete, and all main mechanics and systems are implemented. The only part that remains unfinished is the final story chapter. During Early Access, we plan to add the remaining story missions, introduce new units and decorative elements, and continue refining the game’s balance.
In the current version you will find:
an open world made up of 135 nodes
62 handcrafted maps, plus an unlimited number of procedurally generated maps and missions
45 unique units
108 artifacts
a wide selection of spells, items, potions, and both passive and active abilities
a map and unit editor (for now, maps can only be shared manually; Steam Workshop integration will be added later)
The game currently includes AI-generated translations into Chinese, German, and French. We also plan to add similar translations into Spanish and Japanese soon.
As with any Early Access title, bugs and minor gameplay changes are possible. If playing an unfinished version feels uncomfortable, we recommend waiting for the full release.
Important: save files from the demo version will not work.
