Helloooo everyone! Long time no see! This patch comes with a long awaited addition: controller support!
Controller support
You can finally play Sandwalker with your controller! Any input on a connected controller will switch the control mode automatically.
Balancing
Monsters are now scaling stronger starting level 6, increasing fight difficulty in late game
Bosses rewards now scale with your Caravan’s level
Reputations now have less impact on shop prices
Bugfix
Various fixes on quests, removing some edge-case blockers and improving UX.
Custom controls should now be saved when you quit the game.
Bounty Hunters attacks weren’t working as intended.
Underground plants weren’t giving the right reward.
A Limuloid attack was giving Shield to its enemies.
The “Beast Lair” event wasn’t giving the expected trait in one of its choices.
Some upgrades weren’t working properly on the Swordman & the Protector.
Some Encyclopedia entries were missing, preventing players from completing the related Steam achievement.
And as always, probably other minor fixes that we forgot to mention.
It is probably the last major patch on Sandwalkers: thanks a lot for your feedback and support during the last few years!
