We’ve just rolled out a new update focused on improving stability, quality of life, and gameplay feedback. Thank you once again for your continued support and reports, they truly help us make Spartan Survivors better every day!
Fixes & Improvements
Stability
Fixed numerous crashes reported by the community across various gameplay scenarios.
Improved overall stability for a smoother experience.
Gameplay
You can now trigger your melee weapon using the Space key, thank you for the feedback!
Your kill count during a game is now saved even after exiting, especially useful for Custom Games, thank you for suggesting this!
UI & Quality of Life
Added a Quit button to the main menu for quicker access.
Achievements
Fixed an issue preventing the “RECLAIMER” achievement from triggering correctly.
Achievement Clarification
We’ve received questions about achievements such as Legend, Rookie, Spartan, and others that require completing the game on a specific difficulty. These achievements are not retroactive and will only unlock when completed on the required difficulty. This design choice was made in response to community feedback around grind and progression. We’ll continue to monitor the situation, but no changes are planned at this time.
Platform Notes
Regarding Proton and Steam Deck compatibility: we don’t have an official solution yet. If you discover a workaround or configuration that helps, please share it with the community on the forum.
